Problem is formatting and compatibility when you deal with other companies that use MS Office. But for day to day use (most people), libreoffice + google docs is more than enough.
Any big company that use Libre/OpenOffice?, Is there?

TS, if you are interested, maybe recommend LibreOffice + Google Docs to management.
LibreOffice for those offline situations or when somebody doesn't like the google docs interface. LibreOffice for Windows can now save directly into google drive. Just save as a doc or xls file and you should not have much compatibility issues when opening the file in Google Docs. |
