Im planning to get a new mountain bike and came across this brand Java - vetta. Apparently it is italian design but china made? ( correct me if im wrong).

I couldn’t find much review online, anyone tried it before?

Also i found there is so many interesting brand but yet confusing. Like cube, giant, specialized, xds etc which one is better ?

now a lot branded bikes also china made. Even some famous Taiwan brand also got factory in china.

True! but say my budget is around 2.5k, there are sooooo many range and brands to choose from, really pening

most of the time i enjoy taman riding, but once in awhile dont mind to go in the off road trail to have some fun

2.5k you can decent models from the branded ones.
If you must get China brand, at least get xds as I believe this brand for have proper facilities in their factory for test and r&d.

your are newbie right? newbie are not encourage to DIY whole bike. Some more our local bike shops are cancer. You may fall into some trap.

MTB got hardtail and soft tail so please make sure what you want before make decision. And why not just jump into MTB thread discuss ?

i have been cycling for more than 10 years, but previously just using very normal MTB that cost below 1k. tot of upgrading and be more serious in cycling =).

Also i am not intending to DIY a bike ya, planning to get a complete set, but just need some recommendation and inputs

Reputable budget brand in which I know is XDS and polygon. And the common good brands such as Marin, giant, Merida, etc.

Mostly I guess you are aiming XC bike? Those branded complete bike within the range almost are hardtail and the front fork actually not much different compare to those around 1k bike.

Just want to add JAVA Carbon Fibre frame is very affordable price. You can never match the price with other brands.

Price Is one thing
But how is the ride from this frame?

how about brand like CAMP and TRINX.
Their carbon HT is also very affordable.
