KUALA LUMPUR (July 15): Sheet metal fabrication firm Coraza Integrated Technology Bhd has filed a draft prospectus for an initial public offering (IPO) on the ACE market.

According to its draft IPO prospectus posted on the Securities Commission Malaysia website, the proposed IPO will involve 139.21 million shares, comprising 117.79 million new shares and an offer for sale of up to 21.42 million existing shares.

Of the 117.79 million new shares to be issued, 21.42 million each will be allocated to the Malaysian public, and eligible directors and employees, while 79.96 million will be issued by way of private placement to selected investors.

The group plans to use the IPO proceeds to build a new factory with an estimated construction cost of RM14.28 million.

It also plans to use part of the proceeds to extend its existing factory, purchase new machinery, implement enterprise resource planning system, and repay its bank borrowings.

M&A Securities has been appointed as the IPO adviser, sponsor, underwriter and placement agent.

Coraza Integrated Technology is principally involved in the fabrication of sheet metal and precision machined components, as well as the provision of related services.

Sheet metal, which is metal formed by industrial process into thin, flat pieces, is one of the fundamental forms used in metalworking, as it can be cut and bent into various shapes and sizes. It is used in the making of countless everyday objects.

The group’s profit after tax for the financial year ended Dec 31, 2020, rose 84.52% to RM6.31 million, from RM3.42 million a year ago, as revenue grew 42.82% to RM83.69 million from RM58.59 million.

You have read in the wrong column as that was 2019 but PAT for 2020 doubled to 6.3million

The problem with the listing is that’s major shareholder want to pare down his holdings and give ESOS instead of rumenuration to the staff

I foresee it’s gonna be another Ramssol heavy selling after 10am as the owner says and staff will cash out

EPS and DEPS is around 2 sen and 0.8sen will be horrible to buy into

the thing is such increase in profit is not necessarily sustainable. I rather rely on the 2019 figure than a net profit that is a result of a semiconductor supercycle. There are tons of metal fabrication companies out there. Only few will be winners. This tiny company nobody is gonna able to assess accurately. Anyhow, the IPO will explode for this one. Definitely a 100% gain IPO. But in reality it is just a low quality company.

Yup, my calculation estimate it will have an FV of PE 16.84. Going by the draft prospectus number of shares upon listing, the FV price i estimate will be RM 0.31. Usually, there will be around 20% discount to the FV. So the IPO price is likely to be RM 0.25. Market Cap will be RM 108 million. FY2021 forward PE will be 15x, lower than listed peers, but taken into account its smaller size.

Allocation for retail investors is really low. My estimate is around 112x oversubscription for both bumi and public, 186x oversubscription for public

First day listing my estimate will debut at RM 0.50>, 2 times above its IPO price.

Customer base - jabil, agilent, plexus, ventures and so forth

All their customer is either tech contract manufacturers, semi con or biotech which is expanding rapidly either due to trade wars or high customer demand.

Confirm demand outstrip supply for their business as well as the share subscription haha.
