as far the fuel consumption, my ML persona still shows 7.6L/100km. my observation is that if u maintain normal cruising speed of 90 or 100 km per hour...then the FC will be around 7.6. But bear in mind this is not city driving as i'm staying around airport area...so no traffic jam. And another thing, if u want the FC to maintain at 7.6L....stop running the engine while the car is idle or parked somewhere. my car FC shoot up very fast when idle and so far the highest it goes is around 8.3L/100km. But then...this is normal lah.....everyone knows this right.

initially...when i took delivery of the car it got 2 minor problems. first the left side rear seat cannot be folded. i believe the lock is jammed. Secodnly, the rear left door can't be closed properly...my mom complained a lot about this. u got to really slammed the door only then it will closed and locked properly.

so... i took my car for the first 1000km service at proton service centre and got all these problems fixed. the rear seat now can be folded properly and the door has been adjusted so that it can be closed with minimal push.

Whoa, very nice indeed. So which proton branch fixed your car's problem? The one near LCCT? Would you rate them as good?

nope...initially wanted to go there, but was advised by my SA to go to Salak Tinggi Proton Service Centre.... which is also nearby. The time taken to complete the whole service...change engine oil/filter/gear oil/gasket/etc etc.

I think the service is quite ok lah...one thing i cannot stand is the long waiting time.

Guys just FYI to all you new Persona owners, don't worry about FC within the fist 1000km of running, it will be quite high. After your first service it will improve again. I'm speaking of experience of being one of the first to drive the campro engine in the gen2

My ML persona now at 1500km already,FC is around 8.1 from the meter console.I tried pumping rm50 fuel in and it lasted for 270km(bear in mind tis is city driving). Personally i dun think the FC is tat great..but i'm satisfied by the entire ride in a whole.

The FC is for what mileage now? Cos seems a bit high for normal driving since my Ford Laser 1.8 currently does 9.2 km/l. As for the idle FC shoot up high, I suggest you ask the service center as to whether is there a software update for the ECU or have th ECU checked using the OBD (On Board Diagnostics) system the service center should have. Seems the idle air/fuel ratio is a bit too rich that's why makan minyak (Theoretically should be about 14.7:1 for A/F ratio)

The FC as shown in the system is now 7.6L/100km. The mileage is about 1400km already. On average, for every RM50.00 I can hit 300km...same as per my old WIRA.
