Anyone can share how much to replace Note 9 battery? Charging and maintaining charge is an issue nowadays. Those 3rd party repairman reliable?

Just a secondary phone but needed to be plugged into powerbank to keep it going.

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. So, after replacing battery, it's water resistance capability still remains?

You already pay for the water resistant test, mean they are resealing it for you what. sure still remains. because u have to sign that you a paper that acknowledge the water seal test is done correctly/properly. if you worry, u can request put into water see got problem or not before sign what. lol I rmb I read this scenario in other Galaxies thread.

Google got apps/settings backup covered, right?
Whenever you change phone or format, they'll give you the option to restore the apps back on the new device.

Which did u use? Coz u mentioned u solved lag n battery issues after you do it so interested in your method.

Coz i always think so solve need to factory reset then install back 1 by 1 ....normally phone lag due to cache, junk, whatever things i assume, so if restore then will get back the same junk? Or SmartSwitch is that smart?

I use Smartswitch backup to a pendrive and restore back later (and with some help of Google restore too)

during restore might tooks 30min-60min depending internet connection (needed by Google) and offline restore done locally (needed by SmartSwitch)

Yeah, maybe clear a lot of clear a lot of junk.

Before I was having: aprox 100GB of Internal Storage + almost 90% full from my SD Card.
After now I just having: aprox 50GB of Internal Storage used up + the same as usual 90% from SD Card (SD Card stay untouch during factory reset)

All app are still the original one, but I did uninstall some like maybe around 10 apps that I rarely use.
In case you wonder I have up to 150 apps that needed to restore from backup.

Also, I also did some extra stuff that I previously didn't. I uninstall a lot of bloatware using adb methods. that one u require google xda for solution.

You are using:
CODE
adb shell pm disable-user --user 0

or
CODE
adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0

So far I did see I able to reclaim my storage size wo.

Give it a try. It does help a lot.

At least for my own experience, before reset, each reboot I need wait more than 2-3min before my keyboard pop up to let me key in password to unlock my device.
right now after I reset, each reboot, I just need wait aprox 10sec to allow my keyboard pop up.

It shown that, all my app startup are quicker than before.
