QUOTE(waveweaver @ Oct 15 2022, 07:57 AM) Security updates still got for another year. But no more firmware updates. Hope if got high risk security risk, they will release the update faster.Oohh. .. most probably Dec/Jan only will receive security updates. Else our phones will be vulnerable till the next cycle |

QUOTE(lambox105 @ Oct 19 2022, 08:47 PM) Most people kena because lack of security awareness. Android shouldn't allow any app to ask for SMS read permission at all in the first place. 1. A lot of people use the same password for shopping apps and banking apps and then what will happen? News a lot of mention even in /k 2. A lot of people also install apps (that take your personal data in the form of payment page, etc) from unknown sources, increasing the risk of being 'hacked' because users have entered their information into the 'app' If people have more awareness, sure will be using different password with different combination sure wont kena hack easily unless you lost your phone... then that's a different story Some cases users allowed and TAC kena read. Sadly many still don't have awareness. Even install unknown APK should be only given to developer mode. Or even better with verified tester only.
