Hi there,

I need some help and suggestions for my health issue. For months, my appetite has been poor and my stomach feels tight, hardened, swollen and general discomfort. Sometimes, I'll get excess saliva, reflux, head palpitation, pain in the chest and anxiety feeling.

I've seen GI specialists and done endoscopy. They did not find any structural issues (bacteria, lesion, bleeding, ulcer, dysplasia, cancer) and just dismissed me as a stress-related case. confused.gif

My doctors' medications (acid suppressant, antacid, gas & bloating, abdominal pain) for me doesn't seem to help even after months.

My stomach biopsy states 'chronic follicular gastritis of moderate severity'. Could my symptoms be due to gastritis?

Is there any supplements or alternative treatments that you would recommend?

you eat a lot of meat only?

Not really. Since it started, I have avoided fast food, processed, spicy, oily and fried food. I've been eating clean mostly boiled soup with rice or noodle soup.

Palpitations can sometimes be caused by gastric reflux.

Didn't the doctors put you on the usual H. pylori
treatment of a gastric drug plus two antibiotics ?
" We conclude that FG is highly correlated with H. pylori
infection and represents a local immune response to
bacterial antigens. Their occurrence is probably
multifactorial and related to age, duration of infection,
bacterial strains, host immune status.

You could try some supplements.

As Slimey advised, ginger can also be helpful.

Biopsy result and the urea breath test I did showed H. pylori negative so the antibiotics are not given.

As for supplements, I'm now trying Nuvapine A and sea buckthorn. So far, I'm slowly improving.... hope it continues to heal.

seems like you are already eating right.

if you want traditional chinese medicine, i can refer you to my sinsei who, most of the time, can explain the cause and why to your health issue. the only prerequisite is to listen with open mind. i consulted him when neurologist cannot solve my issue, but this sinsei solved it in a month. and i'm not advertising him, just sharing coz i can imagine the worry u r going through.

probiotics help my mother who has GI problems too. have u tried?
*
I have tried probiotics but not much improvements.

Yes, please send me your sinsei contact and location details.
