As far as i know we only have Trader dispute/complaint room.
It would be fair to have a Trader/member compliment too, isnt it?

I have some trouble with some stuff i bought from trader here.
The trader is so superbly compose and responsible, helpful to help me till the issue settle.
And I feel obliged to let others know how good is he.
And i want to publicly compliment him for his effort.
And he does not not even have a safe trader tag.

Please point me to a place to do this.Or best maybe create a room purposely for this?
I dunno its management call.

Thank you.

i was thinking of this idea for quite awhile....just too lazy to post...i frequent head-fi.org and they have it....

the successfull trade list is all fine and dandy....but just because the trade was successful, that doesnt necessarily make the trade smooth....

take for example my audiophile t-shirt bulk with IAhOs. although it was successful.....it was FAR from smooth. heck...its not even over yet....the dispute is still going on.

only worry about this is...ego and fanboyism...yes fanboyism.

ego: the person can't take negative comments about him/her and ends up 'defending' themselves... which might turn ugly..

fanboyism: other people who has traded with them decide to come in and 'defend' the trader of any negative comments...and again things turn ugly.

if we were civil, and id really like to think that we are, it would be really good for forumers to check on the trader's realiability, communication skills etc etc....all they need to do is go to the subforum and search for the forumer's nickname.

anyway...heres a link to head-fi's Buyer/ Seller Feedback Forum.

Just hope that it won't be abused in someway.

While it was a good idea, successful tradelist for me is enough as a credibility.
I've seen few thread, where seller quote buyers feedback into the 1st few post that are being reserved as a testimonial.

yes..I do agree on all the point given here.
Well,we cant do anything except control it.

The only thing i really sacred is compliment thread will become bashing thread....by egoist or fanboyism....

Anyway, its up to management to decide on this.

How do we know whether the compliments are genuine? Some dudes might come in and simply bash the seller and it gonna be a mess if the seller start replying to the basher and yea, worse if the seller's fans and those who anti that seller come in and start some war.

p/s: We might be getting reports from seller saying some dudes start bashing em with some false complaints but who should we trust? We won't know who's telling the truth.

Hmm if u want his good deed to be know, put in your siggy instead. It will be forever there smile.gif

It's a nice idea to have a member feedback also. But I scare it will eventually become a spam thread xD. coz dispute everything will be there also.

isn't the safe trader tag good enough??

AFAIK, sage trader tags are not easy to get and it is only awarded to people with a lot of sales...

a lot of sales + no complaints = safe trader tag

You forgot something, not just a lot of sales and no complaints. You have to contribute a lot to the forum and not spamming around.
