Saw armored core kit pics online, very cool looking mecha. I have a question, is there a human pilot in the core of the armored core because of this finding from wikipedia:-

Core
The 'torso' of the mech. It is the 'armored core' from which the mech and the game series take their name. The human pilot sits inside the core.
Cores come in different weights to suit different styles of robot; the lighter ones are less well protected but more suitable for more mobile ACs. Similarly, there are highly defensive heavyweight cores.

sounds like zoids core, but in zoids pilot dont sit in the core.

with regards to your question, i am not sure hether model kits have pilots in the core or not, cos i dont have any AC kit.

just wanted to get the weapon color done right since its all in midnight blue.

what i love most about these ac series is that you pay for what you see and get it. unlike gundam with mg, hg, ng n stuff, you need to paint the parts, n stick decals on. but with this, every other color comes with their own parts. no need to paint or anything.
but sure is a pain in the ass assembling one. hehe.

My first AC kit Just took me 1 month to complete it...

Nice Foxeye! Love the Karasawa; looks real majestic and powerful!

Can't say the same about the pilot though. Berpuluh puluh kali sudah membunuh dia dalam arena...

I never played any AC game b4, except the one on PSP. But I really like the AC kit. My question is can I put some led into these kit or I must mod it to stick the led into it? THnx.

Y so quiet liao all the sudden? Haven't got an AC model before and I have a few questions b4 buying one (wanna save money mar).

How big is the model? I mean in cm...i juz dun understand the scale thingy (sry i'm such a noob)
How much paint job is required? a lot of painting required for it to look good?
Can u change the colour of the AC like in the game?

Mine is roughly about 17 cm. I don't think any paint is really required. And as for the color, well that's where paint comes in.

as for the paint, will any type of paint do or it need a certain type of paint like acrylic paint?
i really like Gaea and Aaliyah...but u guys said older kits are not as good as the newer ones so i oso dunno wanna buy or not. I dun wanna get problems like holes wont fit or holes too big lar.

btw GL91, older kits aren't actually bad compared to the Next ACs, its just that they have more joints articulation wise, The Nexts just looks kewl on the outside ;p, my 2 cents, kekeke
