Please advise. Share your disappointment with such products. Do you regret? Just stick to normal power strip?

AVR is like insurance

AVR is good if you using generator as power source and make sure voltage is stable

TNB power is robust enough, but definitely for me buying UPS instead.

u stay near industrial area or nearby substation?

imo ups is more benefial for end user use

i use avr almost 11 year, save my pc and tv many time ,
avr 1000w , 11 year and still strong

No regret, saved my pc many times.
Now I upgraded to UPS hah

AVR is good, but if got a bit more budget go for UPS instead if for PC. It have the benefit of AVR and UPS combined

Sorry noob here but what is the main function of this? Should I get one for my pc too? My PC is running 24/7

UPS need maintenance for every year or 2 years.

How do I know my AVR is still working fine? A decade old device.

Damn I had that shit too during 1" time. No idea what it was that time other than a switch to flick on before powering on computer. Heavy and solid piece of brick, I wish it is still around.

But now I just use UPS

got output voltage indicator screen. Either it is analogue or digital.

avr cuts off high voltage if kena lightning strike, save your electrical devices connected to it.

ups is avr with battery. apart from lightning strike protection, it also provides some emergency power for your devices to shut down properly.

Use laptop then no need UPS

All my current AVR and ups is APC.

Im using the exact model, so far no complaints aside from no individual switches for each socket

in that case just get the avr or if budget permitted get the ups+avr function.

from time to time, tnb do switching at their subtstation , u would notice by sometime flickering with ur electronic equipment. In this case, avr do help to maintain constant source for ur device

I live like 20km from factories. So, sometimes voltage becomes slightly unstable. Noticed issues during my external GPU days. Then, bought an AVR.

But if ur using for critical applications, UPS would be better.

Mine is super old model. Only has 3 led lights showing "normal", "high", "low". When it's on, it will just light on one of them. No number to read its voltage

get 1 right power 800va entry level should be ok.

Laptop got own power mah, no scare sudden power outage corrupt your computer.

I use an avr. Able to overclock my pc more stable.
