only for Kelantan

But we can assume that other states will also follow especially as their Sinovac stocks deplete faster like Klang Valley. They are finishing up what Sinovac they have at the centers today, not restocking (for first dose) once finished as based on the article then moving forward with Pfizer etc. They have not named a specific date yet ofc but it is logical.

Edit - this is in reference to first dose only, not talking about 2nd dose which stocks are reserved already

The stopping of Sinovac on 18th July is only for Kelantan. Other PPVs in other states will continue to provide Sinovac until the stocks are depleted.

Dont assume. Government never explicitly said other states will start using Pfizer only from 18th. They are saying they will gradually start switching to Pfizer once Sinovac supplies are depleted, and this depends on the PPV

Well I don't think from all centers. At least starting point.

But I think they do not have official date to completely stop giving sinovac. Vaccine hotline said there are no proper statement from the government as to when they will stop sinovac. But hopefully is on the 18th.

After months of waiting, I’m scheduled for vaccination at last, it’s SACC at next Friday. I’m happy that they scheduled it almost one week earlier instead of those same day or next day appointment.

Hopefully next week Haj holiday won’t affect anything.

back from Setia Alan convention center HCO A , it is Sinovac parking under hot sun so afternoon not so much ppl,
the doctor and nurse are from Glennegar Pantai hospital, all nurse very yong and cute runnig non stop feeding vaccine to
injuction cube using the cooler box 👍.

inside injection cube Can see nurse take one bottle vaccine out from cooler box pass to doctor, then doctor prepare syringe with green color niddle , she show me the bottle with sinovac and peal of the blue color seal cap and draw the vaccine juice , after that she change the niddle to orange , then she ask me relax, at the same time the nurse take my phone to scan the vaccine barcode stick on the wall , that was the vaccine batch code and expired date that will register inside your Mysejahtera.

overall satisfaction good only negative is no fancy decorations photo booth like other PPV , it just a very simple frame

this is unlikely now

https://www.thestar.com.my/news/nation/2021...vaccine-in-july

just take wtv you are given at this point

It's already announced in the news regarding Sinovac. Initially the supply was for 2m doses a month till November. But Pharmaniaga managed to speed up deliveries and complete all deliveries by this month. Hence why 1H 2021 almost all PPVs were giving out Sinovac. Pfizer deliveries are only ramping up right now as we speak. However there is a plan B to increase Sinovac's order in the event Pfizer/AZ or other incoming vaccine supply disruption. Although unlikely to happen but thats the back up plan as we have quick access for Sinovac if needed.

Sadly due to media spin and misunderstanding, people are getting the wrong idea Sinovac being stopped by KKM due effectiveness issue.

If one were to scrutinize Sinovac's data from Thailand where only 618 out of 677k healthcare workers infected, it actually performed better than Pfizer in Malaysia where 3100 healthcare workers caught covid from 245k who received it. But not sure why Thai health authority is panicking, maybe they should see Malaysia's data first haha.

Like you said, take wtv comes first is best. Most likely we all need a 3rd booster shot somewhere down the line. That time people can choose la what they want as supplies will be a lot irregardless of the type.

The Johor Baru campus of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) will be used as a vaccination centre from July 19 till Oct 31.
Located at the Dewan Perpustakaan Raja Zarith Sofiah, the centre will be under the integrated higher education institute category in the south.
Hope someone will provide the type of vaccine after 19July.
