bought xqbox 901 from ngbh..saw in SFF thread that it can b use for huge hsf..so decide to put 3rd party hsf in it..here sum pic taken for the case

here sum interior from the SFF..the quality build abit poor..but its really nice case
angle from top..mite get cut cut abit to put 3rd party hsf later angle from back..using 12 cm exhausted fan angle from side for the hdd cage another side for the SFF.. i'm thinking to make 4X8cm fan intake for this SFF..summo put 3rd party hsf and make cable management for it..will update back once i got pic from my fren's digicam..forgot to take it hehe stay tuned!!!! but after thinking to get 4x8cm fan..my case wud be noisy so me n my fren jibamgodi try to figure out if we able to put 12 cm fan as intake..theres few part that need to be change if wanna use 12cm fan as intake..so we decide to intake from graphic card side since there wud b more suitable cmpare make it at proc side
these the sidepanel window that hv been measure to be cut for 12cm intake fan..put it abit top coz gonna avoid the pci and usb port on mobo..the space abit limited hehe u c the blowhole been ready to be made..see the machine the cutter start to spinning..haha like spinning gasing its become faster n faster..the plastic seem melt..trying to hadle it carefully This post has been edited by mfcm: Sep 7 2007, 07:47 PM |

now its time to mod the front grill for cable management
the front panel hv been open..im trying to hide the cable behind the front plastic panel here the spot dat gonna b cut to make cable properly manage there also i need to move the rod bar steel that use to stabilize the case due to i want to put 12cm fan in sidepanel..so if i didnt move it..i go no space..will stuck unless i use 8cm fan the hole been made to hide the usb cable,panel cable and other cable the hole also made near to hdd cage..as later i want to hide the sata and sata power cable..will try make it WIFI hdd the floor been hole to tie the cable properly later This post has been edited by mfcm: Sep 7 2007, 08:14 PM |

the rivet hv been drill to take out thebracing bar..i need to cut it off coz wont enuf space to put 3rd party later there also the result after the bar hv been cut and re-rivet back..sori forgot to take pic when cutting the bracing bar the result when the blowhole been attach with 12cm fan [attachmentid=291008] snap from front of the case..there's the hole dat been made to manage the cable the sidepanel been fix to the case..really nice izzit can hv 12 cm intake and exhuasted in SFF This post has been edited by mfcm: Sep 7 2007, 08:46 PM Attached thumbnail(s) |
