Anyone here has the same problem like me? Some of us can run 12/13KPH for an hour or more. I have an old Life Fitness ST55 treadmill 2.0HP motor in my house and now it dies when I run at a mere 12KPH for less than an hour. I have to solely run on the treadmill due to EMCO. Does anyone recommend any other treadmill? I was eyeing the Intense run treadmill from Decathalon but that one is also 2HP and I am not sure if it can take a beating from the mileage I am going to put in. That one lack reviews so I am unsure.

Maybe motor overheated.
I'm using Kettler Track S10 model, 4hp with max speed 22km/h

No problem running 14-16km/h

wow that is like 13K MYR on Lazada. If I didn't invest almost 10K MYR on my bike maybe I would've consider. But I thought the Decathalon treadmill which cost like 3K MYR looks decent as it can go up to 22/21KPH? but only the motor power of 2hp worries me. Thanks. I suppose if you want a long term treadmill, you gotta pay up. I will consider once lockdown is over. Can't really do anything now except run two or three sessions a day to get my miles in.

likely thermal fuse cut out.

if you want to diy, then unplug the unit, open the cover of the electric motor and brush off the dust.

then reassemble back.

it also helps to have a fan blowing at the motor area for long runs.

If you can break a treadmill because of the intensity and duration of your run, you're ready for jump burpees.

I'm using Horizon treadmill, I think good value. Anything between 3 to 5K is good enough.
