QUOTE(gsstars @ Jul 7 2021, 04:28 PM) Dear pet owners, I'd would like to ask is it okay to feed 4 months old kitten with freeze-dried food, I'm considering the Grace Cat freeze-dried pet food here. Can I feed them as main meals? If yes, how many times a day? Also, after I fed them the raw food, can I still feed them cooked foods like kibbles and wet food? Thanks a lot! Through my experience......they are okie eating if they want to eat. I found my cat to be picky with those treats up till 6 months old. It can't be used as main meal given that it lack moisture. Maybe you can soak the freeze dried treats in water then it will better but mind as well buy the can wetfood? ahahah

QUOTE(gsstars @ Jul 8 2021, 10:51 AM) Hi, thanks for reply. Sure, I will soak the freeze-dried treats in water and let them eat as I found one of them seldom drink water. I bought some wet foods like Misha 100% Tuna (85g) and Prodiet 100% Fresh Tuna (85g), is these brands okay? Or do you have any better suggestion for wet pet food? I prefer a good quality one for them. I am also thinking of buying some high-quality kibbles to leave it overnight for them because wet food will grow bacteria faster after open, and after I feed them wet food before sleep and until I wake up, there is about 8-9 hours gap, and my kittens like to eat (every 3-4 hours), especially the orange one, but he is picky, any kibbles brand do you recommend? I will keep dry kibbles at minimum, just for overnight. Thanks in advanced, I'm first time cat owner but I do hope to give them the best. I used to feed my kitten Schesir but it is kinda expensive so it's not for everyone. I tried another brand which was almost half the price but they are using real meat instead of all those gel. You can try this as my cat goes crazy over them. Don't spoil them with too much wet food. Just give them once a week will do as they will grow dependent on them if feed too often and your pocket will bleed. lol: https://shopee.com.my/Aixia-Kuro-Can-Mini-T...8139.5443829280As for kibbles, I am feeding Orijen six fish but again, it's very expensive if you compare other kibbles out there. You can try brands like Taste of the wild, Snappy Tom, blackwood or the likes...typically about 100-150Rm per 5-6kg is a good gauge. Try going for a grain free and high protein one.
