Some of my catch this evening... when for tarpon spot.. no hit at all.. so when to have a try at barra spot.. caught this small barra and baby grouper.. Both caught with 4cm storm lure..

Hi all..

Went wave breaker just now.. go casting.. but zero then saw some big mullet/belanak swim pass.. so i got some small hook and a small piece of fish meat cast just 2-3 meter from where i stand and caught a few of this mullet/belanak.. the biggest 1 gave me a very good fight..

You are right sifu,.. good fighting fish.. was using 8lb fireline with 2 feet 25lb mono leader and prawn hook size 8.. very small hook.. hehe.. i din use any sinker cause they play very near to surface.. so let the small bait sink slowly... when i landed the big 1 the small hook already open a bit already.. very syiok.. hehee

Just steam it just now.... the meat are those dry type like you mention but not bony.. very few bone only.. Anyway,. i like to fish but dont really like to eat fish.. so cant giv any comment on the taste.. hahahaa..

I not sure will be back or not yet.. mayb only.. but if got place for chaser trip i will join.. cause here monsoon cannot go sea fishing.. hahaha
