Bro VW,
Shimano is famous for their durability and of course their drags... Daiwa is famous for the line capacity, light weight and also their drags.. You choose your game. FreamJ is the entry level for Daiwa, but honestly speaking, good enough for a starter. But if you intend to use it for jigging, it's your rod that determine if the setup is balanced and good for jigging. For example, place your finger on your reel seat(together with the reel on the rod), and see if the weight pulls forward(heavy on the rod) or weight pulls to the back(heavy on the reels). In such manner either rod heavy or reel heavy, it's not proper for jigging. Jigging concept is on jerking/bouncing the jigs upwards. With the right motion and pressure, the rod will be bouncing the jig with rhythm thus you need lesser strength to jig. The rthym works wonder, be it fast or slow jigging, the rod automatically bouncing the jig for you. I have just learnt this recently. It also reduces the fatigue that you have on your arm..
