Try dr ting. RM150 per session. They cant enhance hair growth but will lessen alot. Shampoo to wash and medicine to apply on. Works well. Cheap but queue like hell.
Will keep them in mind. You've tried them personally?

You should consult a Rheumatologist for a specific blood test. Dermatologist wont help ... from experienced.
Will consider as you + taiping suggested. I actually haven't come across this during my research so I'm kinda surprised..!

depends on the hair loss you get
If its very permanent already (the hairline already receeding from long time ago) then dont bother shampoo or treatments. Your only solution is hair transplant surgery
If its not too long ago (you just notice your hairline gets shorter since less than 1month ago) then still have chance by using serums. Try The ordinary multi peptide hair serum. It works on many people. Have to buy overseas because malaysia many shops sell fake one.
For shampoo, dont even bother getting anti hair fall ones because none of them will help. Some companies say the shampoo is special for scalp. But actually rarely people need scalp shampoo. Sometimes if you use scalp shampoo it may actually makes it worse
Just make sure the shampoo dont dry your hair then good enough.
I'm actually less fussed about the receding. I'm more worried about thinning on top (crown) than I am about a receding hairline. Yea I've heard mixed things about shampoo..
And noted on your advice on Biotin - thanks.

Since your problem started 8-9 years ago I doubt you are suffering from scalp disease. It could be genetic.
By all means see a dermatologist but unless you are suffering from a treatable scalp disease, no treatment is going to help. A receding hairline can't be stopped.
Avoid hair transplant. They don't last long. You may want to research on hair pieces to augment your thinning hair.
I suspect it's probably genetic too. What's "augment your thinning hair" refer to? Sounds like a hair transplant haha

Alpecin wasn't effective for me as well
Saw somewhere they had no clinical studies or similar stuff?
I went to do this Chinese herbal treatment not in your area and it kinda helped, less oily scalp. Guess that's good?
Also the staff told me to stop using conditioner as it makes scalp more oily?
I'm a little lazy so not keeping with treatments
Also Hair stylist told me is all back to diet sleep water the basic stuff
Good luck TS. I know how you feel
Oh you did some Chinese herbal treatment too? I would imagine it's similar to Origin/Two Herbs then... thanks for the empathy lol

Wua, u have try so many product but non of them work ? or non works to ur expectation ?
Um... I would say, I can't say any of them worked
definitively. I definitely went through phases of using some of the treatments where I may have felt like, oh it's working now after a while - but then I think it was just a placebo, or, it could have just been that it got better for a bit, but then it got worse again. So if that's the case, how can I say that the treatment definitely worked? It shouldn't get worse if it
truly works.

Is your dad, uncle, grandfather bald as well at an early age? If yes, then it's unlikely that any products can fight against DNA. Only can delay at best.
Do you have other scalp or hair issue like itchy scalp or dandruff? If no, then quite likely it's a DNA thing. So refer back to the first point above.
Supplement, shampoo & hair tonic/serum can only help to restore the health of your scalp & hair. Basically that means those products can only help if your hairloss is due to poor health or lacking in sulphur or other essential hair nutrients.
I have hair growth products, they're very popular. But I still always tell that to anyone enquiring about my products to ensure they know what they should or shouldn't be looking for.
My dad - he only decided to shave it all off at 50+.. so it's a big difference. Father's side grandfather I don't know - he died at too young an age. Mother's side - he had hair until he died, didn't really feel like he had obvious balding. Oh and I have a brother who's 40 who has no hair loss issue whatsoever. His hair is thick as hell. I'm always jealous - we're fully blood related. Not half brothers or adopted or anything lol.
No itchy scalp/dandruff. You sound responsible. And to be honest - from what you've said, I think you are more or less confirming that mine is DNA related. Obviously it's a bit unfortunate! But I'd rather know the unfortunate truth than be given false hope - and what you've said is more or less what I've suspected anyway
