Well i haven't tried the method stringfellow used, but if i'm not mistaken, the File > Export feature only in Quick Time Pro?

and i can't seem to access squared5.com =(

You dont have to worry, we already get batches that is beyong Week 38. Corinne Bailey Rae was the cover girl to avoid, and we get Macy Gray as the cover girl, which is already okay.

I have got mine with Corinne Bailey Rae as the cover girl but it's a week 38 batch as the serial number suggests. But well, the problem is fixed with the update anyway.

I used Videora for a while last nite but couldn't get it work because it gives me white blank screen when asking me to "Choose Method" of conversion. Does that program requires an online connection to make it work?

Anyway i just had my touch early yesterday and the experience of using it in the first 24 hours have not been a pleasure. I noticed few bugs in my unit:

1. A permanent dead strip of pixel across some of my photos. It happens sometimes when i flick foward and backward too quickly. The strip will remains unless you resync the photos back to your iPod. I'll try to post up some pix as soon as i get back my digital camera.

2. Watching a movie on touch drives me up the wall. The iPod keeps crashing every 10 minutes or so! I'm certain the video file is alright.

3. Some of the album arts went missing after a while. Again, i'll have to recopy the songs to my iPod to get the album art again.

4. Somehow inaccurate battery indicator. I swear i have half the battery left when i turned it off last night and when i turn it on again this morning it warns me that less than 20% of battery power left.

I don't know if it's only me or the same problems are seen in other units too.

p/s: How long do we need to charge the touch from a flat battery to 100%, eh?

Thank you for the swift reply. I thought this discussion is useful for fellow touch owners so please keep it up (rather than "Yeay, i type this from my touch!" post).

1. If i'm not wrong, all the photos are optimized automatically for your touch from the iTunes when you sync them up. So the photo's resolution should not be a problem. My photos are of same resolution as i snapped it with the exact camera with the exact settings. Not all of the uploaded photos on my touch show such glitch, only a few. I don't know what is wrong.

2. Yeah i always thought using the Quicktime is the best tool for videos on iPod but i haven't got the crack for the Pro edition yet... oooops doh.gif And wot?! You own both iPhone and iPod touch?! oh my gawd!

3. Well, it isn't really any album art fetcher application but i google all my album arts, and paste it manually (Right click on the song > Get Info > Album Art). I think i found a temporary solution to it. Earlier i did not include an album art for all the songs in the album. What i do now is, i paste the album art in all the songs in the album & resync it and the album art now shows in the touch's cover flow view. Some of you might have noticed that in iTunes it is not necessary to paste the album art on all the songs belong to the same album. All you gotta do is to have one of the songs pasted with the album art, and the rest of the songs from that same album would acquired the album art, automatically rclxub.gif ** i hope i explained this well otherwise i'll give an example later **
But what weird is before this, if i switch it to album view (tap on the album icon on the bottom dock), the album art (the tiny one on the left) does show. When i tilt it to the cover flow view, it went missing!

4. I turned it off as in i REALLY did turn it off (power down). I did both actually, put it to sleep and wake it again. Power down and power up again. It didn't work.

Anyway i had an iPod Nano first generation which has got some scratches on it's chrome back. I was googling around to see if i could get it removed. Here is what i found, funny:
Removing scratches with banana
Other options including using Brasso (did i spell it correctly?), a metal chrome cleaner. I don't know if this works. Have not tried this personally but probably would wanna give it a shot. If it does work then cool. If it doesn't...all i gotta lose is a banana tongue.gif I have not brought my touch to anywhere outta my house yet as i do not want it to suffer the same fate as my nano. Any pouch available yet for the touch?

Found something fun too:
Mac OS X icon on iPod touch

And a 'glitch' on the iPod touch.

Couldn't spot much difference from my previous 1st generation nano. Thinking to get a better pair of earpiece - a Sennheiser or something. Anyway from the reviews i read, the touch's sound quality is not as good as the 5G ipods.

Oh by the way, does anyone here knows what is the included dock (the white one, not the clear one) for? I don't seem to find and usability of it. I have another one that came together with my old nano too and i never once use it =P

Hi there, thank you for sharing. I was fortunate enough to bump into some of the Golla pouches in an electronic shops in my small hometown here in Kuantan. They're selling all of 'em with RM49 each too. They all look pretty awesome (spare the pink one tongue.gif) and i would get one too soon. But anyhow i'd still wanna skin the touch because the pouch don't really protect the touch when i bring it out biggrin.gif

but hey, i see that interesting pair of black earpiece....what brand is that?

Oh yeah people, i still havent find one good vid converter for my touch =( i'm using PSP vid 9 now but it didn't give me full screen reso on the touch and the vids crash quite often on the touch =( Any recommendations?
