on the other hand, I'm having 2nd thought about buying the Touch. being priced at RM1.6k, should I add some money and get the iPhone instead? hurm hurm..
*
This is exactly what i'm contemplating, the price difference is rather insignificant... The only thing stopping me from getting an iPhone is that my provider here is 3G native (sim card only works in 3G phones), and maxis which is what i'm using in msia still can't accept incoming calls... Thinking of getting a touch, but should I get an iPhone instead, despite not being able to fully use its phone functions, lower capacity, and warranty issues?? hmm.gif

A 3G 16gb iPhone would be the perfect sweet spot for me, but one can only dream about this for now... The wait is agonizing!! haha... that's why i'm so tempted to get the touch....

i would like to know that, ipod touch 8gb and 16gb use hdd or flash memory?
*
The Touch uses flash memory, that's why it's currently limited to 16gb... The iPod Classic is the only iPod in the current line up that uses hard disks...

The iPod touch, use flash memory? What type? MicroSD?
*
It doesn't use MicroSD or any other form of removable memory card modules... The memory of the Touch is fixed and can't be added...

This makes me realize that none of Apple products (mb/mbp/imac/iphone etc) have memory card slots/card readers... I wonder what's the reason behind this...

Gosh.. Is it just me, or is Apple Byte really getting trashier by the day?.

String, I understand your concern and I agree with you as I myself am a strong advocate of efforts against intellectual property theft. You've done your job to hit the report button, so let's leave it at that shall we? Continuously responding to the offenders would just make the jobs for moderators much more difficult.

STRING, YOU'RE ONE HELLUVA GREAT CONTRIBUTOR TO THIS COMMUNITY AND YOU'RE ONE OF THE FEW PEOPLE WHO POST CONSTRUCTIVE AND CONTRIBUTING STUFF IN THIS PLACE. HOWEVER, YOUR LAST FEW POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE TOTALLY UNNECESSARY. YOU WANNA HELP THE MODERATORS BUT YOU'RE NOT MAKING THEIR JOBS ANY EASIER BY POSTING CRAP.

I HAVE A HIGH TOLERANCE FOR CRAP ON FORUMS AND I USUALLY ABSTAIN FROM FLAMING BUT THIS IS JUST TOO MUCH.
