Yeah, Midvalley traffic was crazy. Took me 20-25 minutes to get outta' there.

So far so good, the new iPod touch. Quite a few dead pixels though. Not sure what their policy is on this kinda' thing.

Oh...think I might've been served by this cute young lady. She was nice enough to me. Oh well.

Looks like Week 38. Everything works fine. Just need to check on the video quality now.

How do you check the battery life? Sometimes my battery indicator in the top corner appear white and empty, even though the battery's fully charged.

Everyone's keeping their plastic film on their iPod touch screens? Kinda scared to remove it until I get a proper screen protector.

For those who have removed it and don't use a casing either, how's the screen holding up?

Do people find that their battery indicators are green on every screen, or green on some and white on others?

OK, you guys will probably kill me because the answer may already be in here somewhere but...

I finally decided to try and jailbreak my Touch. Worked well enough with Touchfree 4, but having read somewhere that there was meant to be another programme which also installed the iPhone apps for you, I then tried Touchfree 6. Then, my Touch claimed to have only 300MB capacity for some strange reason!

OK, managed to restore, after a serious scare, so what's the easiest way of going about this.

I can go down either the Mac or PC route. And if there is a method that will automatically place those iPhone apps on the Touch for me too, that'd be great. Any suggestions?

Thanks, davidmak. Used touchfree 0.6 which was what started the whole scary experience and from which the iPod touch was almost unable to recover. Too scary. I did have everything necessary installled, and the other processes shut down. Not sure what went wrong, but am a bit weary of trying again.

Added on October 21, 2007, 6:06 pmThe mac method with iJailbreak looks a little more straightforward. Trying it now.

Added on October 21, 2007, 6:33 pmMuch better. Nice and easy with iJailbreak on the Mac. If I'm not mistaken, there's an app somewhere in installer which can be used to enable Touch users to add/edit calendar events. Anyone remember the name, and the section of installer that it can be located in?

Anyone bought a screen protector yet, like the ones they're selling at Machines for RM59?

Easy to apply? Any better than the original plastic sheet it comes with when it ships?
