after playing with the unit for a few minutes, and "poisoned" by the urge to get the iPhone(but dont hv a deep pocket),i've decided to get the iPod touch to cure my itch.
Will be getting mine next month from Subaru,he's getting me from S'pore,batch week 41,am VERY(read...very here mean extremely) excited...so excited that am posting this at this hour...
btw, upon getting my iPod touch, i guess the thing i hv to do is:

1) hack it...(dont mean it literally of course)
2) install ALL the apps in it...
3) get martin field screen protector (is anyone selling it?Let me know pls)
4) get a silicon case (any seller too on this?)
5) get the Mylar xbi from the bulk
6) show off time!!!:cool2:

anyway, the ipod touch is heavy than wht i thought (sum plaing at Best denki), but the shiny little thing is like devil...tempting me...

Yeah, the iPod Touch in 32GB. But the whole excitement about it is quite overrated, might I say. Still, the price is extremely close to the 16GB model, worth the extra 200-300 for an extra 16GB bump.

try to re sync your ipod with ur computer and see how... if still persist, try reformat your ipod and try again... still persist, send for warranty...

I must say I'm very satisfied with my iPod running 1.1.3 with new features, lyric support and web clips are awesome. Unfortunately can't stay long at this firmware. 1.1.4 is coming so in order to run SDK developed apps we gotta use that firmware.

got new app?i updated to 1.1.3 but see nothing?

Ahah, tried that already dahling, to no success. Even tried IMF shut down sync, but that didn't work either... *facepalm* It has so muchh potential, just a jailbreak away...

would like to ask.. how big is a standard movie (aprrox. 2 hours) in H.264 video format?
is there any converter that can convert from .avi to this video format?

Basically 1.1.4 is just bug updates and preparation for SDK apps. iPodtouchmaster's repository server is down so can't jailbreak OTA.

anybody can guide me on how to JB from v1.1.1 to v1.1.2 using Mac ?
I was trying several times.... but always failed :S

I managed to do the following steps :
1) Install [ Installer ] from www.jailbreakme.com
2) Install Oktoprep
3) Update iPod Touch to v1.1.2
4) Execute JAILBREAK v1.1.2 tools. Using Mac will run JAILBREAK.JAR
      ## Do I need to TICK to install "SSH" 

However, at Step 4, when it finished jailbreaking... it requires to restart for several times as told. When it's about to restart, my iPod Touch immediately turns to RESTORE MODE.... it won't restart by itself for several times as mentioned. I need help on this.....

but i took a trip to apple reseller today, and he told me to get the 16gb ipod touch coz it has more function (i was interested to get the 8gb one due to budget)...
when i asked what is the extra function he said the 16gb one have installer..means can install game and all.

i thought all comes identical be it 8, 16 or 32 gb..just that with or without the software update.

take it as i don't intend to jailbreak.(not for now til im more familiar with apple products.)

can someone enlighten me on this?

meaning... if mine has no JSU purchased, even I jailbreak it to v1.1.3 or v1.1.4, it still has no wiggle function is it ?

Or... If i jailbreak it up to v1.1.3 or v1.1.4, i can have the wiggle features ?
