I bought my Ipod Touch from a forumer too, too bad mine is having somekinda freeze problem and the seller don't seems wanna pick my call.. really felt cheated but what to do). Just need to know whether I can get this Ipod touch to any nearest MAC dealer for warranty, any ideas guys?

Nope, it's a secondhand unit, guess should be a defective unit~~

How to check whether the warranty still intact? The seller told me there's no warranty card, he have registered online and that's it.

Actually Iphone and IpodTouch are running the same firmware/system and it will installed neccesary files automatically base on the hardware on Iphone or IpodTouch. Both are running the with the same MacOSX mobile version, only when jailbreaking Iphone we need to choose "Jailbreak and unlock" while the Ipodtouch are just "Jailbreak".

Press and hold the "power" and "home" button for 10 seconds and it will automatically reboot by itself, if this problem keeps occur I suggest you do a restore to the latest Firmware 1.1.4 and jailbreak again.

Added on May 8, 2008, 11:32 amMake sure you're using the latest Ziphone, do a google search for the latest Ziphone. From what I heard, Liberty are more stable than Ziphone as I have some issue with "youtube" not running after jailbreak with Ziphone on my 1.1.4 FW.

No idea bout the difference as normally newer firmware will be more stable in terms of system and increase battery life (correct me if I'm wrong).

If you're using wep connection make sure the password is correct otherwise you can be connected to the router but can't access to the internet.

Have you Jailbreak your IpodTouch yet? If your's already JB, go to "installer" and press the "reload/refresh" button, touch the "all packages" folder and search for Summerboard. You need to install "Books" in order to read the ebooks you downloaded, add this to your source and press the reload button------>repo.smxy.org/iphone

Install Wildeyes and browse your files for viewing. Doc,txt & PDF file format supported.

You can download through mails or only if you know how to connect your Ipodtouch using Winscp, google for Winscp to read more bout the instruction as it connect your IpodTouch wirelessly to browse your iPhone.

Haven't tried the FW 2.0 yet but I google and found that the "lag" can be solved if you reboot your IpodTouch/iPhone after installing new application.
