now i only use 1card for online shopping and 1 for backup in case the former is blocked.
Interesting that you mentioned it. I had unauthorised transactions within 2 hours of checking out of a hotel in jb. Luckily it was a small amount of rm0.50 sen but it happened twice consecutively. I received sms alert from maybank but didn't read it that time as I was meeting a client. After about 10 mins, my phone rang and it was someone from maybank asking me about the two transactions. I said it wasn't me who performed it. Maybank straight away cancelled n replaced my card n reversed the two transactionsif the purchase involves huge sum of money, the bank will detect the unauthorised transaction. they will call.
