Benchmark would be a 1k increment yearly starting from 20 with base income of 2k .so by 28yrs old should have 10k celery

Long ago since I was 24.. My first job already landed me 5 figures la owai.. 5 figures yearly is easy to reach.. 7 figures yearly is a better question

usually manager can break 10k range but yeah it takes time to reach that stage
my fren earn his first 10k from his side job rather than his main job steady 4k
but he is not quitting his main job and he seems enjoying doing both

go take up some technical skill like cloud tech and do some side projects to build your portfolio

interview process is probably highly competitive though. you will encounter some of the best, so u better work hard to be the best as well

yeah i find it really hard for normal employee to break even 5k apatah lagi 10k, unless specific industries

there are exceptions like a friend of mine grad and went into OnG field become onsite engineer on oil rig. easily USD9k per month for a 26yo. but caveats are stuck in oilrig for months and forced to travel here there

I reached 5 figures at early 30’s which is a bit late because previously working in different sector which almost impossible to reach that amount if work as a kuli. Currently working under transportation sector. That figure not include my side income.

11k when 30 years old, 24k when 37 years old and 31k when 41 years old. All as an employee.

Bought my G30 and semid when reached 24k, upgraded from a Camry and DSL

Added my 2nd car, a X70 when reached 31k.

At my age and salary now, it’s way above my expectation. When young only wish for a Camry and a salary 10k. Combined with my wife, we’ve a household income of 42-43k monthly. Really glad now I don’t have to think twice and just buy or eat anything me and my family wants 😊
