I got a few tubes of steroid ointment and a moisturizer. The dermatologist said my eczema was caused by dry skin. So I've also stopped using soap because of that.

My brother was a heavy steroid cream and medicine user man, mostly prescribed by doctors and dermatologists.

He found this clinic

Course of treatment and medication over a year, at first he suffered horrible steroid withdrawal as his skin condition worsened. But over time, his skin significantly improved and he's much better now (you wouldn't be able to tell if he had any skin condition at all). Treatment is also affordable.

My dermatologist asked me to avoid taking steroid tablets because these will make things worse in the long term.

Yeah, oral and topical steroids will have a lasting impact. My brother's skin is basically much healthier than mine now.

The initial withdrawal was really bad, but he stuck to it and persevered. After a year of treatment, much better. His diet and lifestyle also significantly improved.

Topical not so bad I think.

Depending on how much you use, and how frequent.
You'll only know the impact once you experience the withdrawal. Can be very severe.
