not all users can get 24H2 in their updates .. I didnt get it and Im happy to stay with 23H2, since there are many issues with 24H2 loitering around (trust me,  Im on most Windows discussion forums) .. there are someways to solve your problem .. I've used 2016 Mondo, Office 2024 and Office 365 Enterprise, always keep your Office updated and as far as I aware, Excel workbook with data links will have this problem under 24H2 ..

make sure you have these installed;

update your Office (from anywhere in Word, PowerPoint or Excel will do fine)


other methods;
- start Excel in safe-mode, disable ADDONS and restart normal
- (Review tab > Share Workbook > Allow changes by more than one user at the same time) which also requires disabling privacy for the workbook, too (File tab > Excel Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > Privacy Options category > disable (clear the checkbox) Remove Personal Information From File Properties On Save)

- if your office force you still use 24H2, then get LibreOffice as it works nearly 100% as MS Office ..
