guys, any idea how to make the taskbar icons in the same size?
noticed my win11 on envy4 does not have same size icons whereas on ideapad pro 5, all the icons are in same size.

Try remove the icon from the taskbar, restart computer then re-add it back to taskbar.

For those subscribing unifi and playtv. Try install Widnows Subsystem Android(WSA), follow by unifi play TV app. Then you can watch TV program on PC, very convenient. rclxm9.gif

Good idea but I got media player which can play all video (news, sport, movie, drama, TV channel, radio channel, etc) categorized by country list. No need to install WSA also to do that.

By right, it got prompt once a while on the right hand corner for few seconds before go away. Well, it does remind me on laptop. Unless the notification you also turn off.
So far never test out such as way that rollback then upgrade again to Windows 11. Anyone tried that before?

Thank you!

You need to install both. One from Microsoft which Windows update will solve it.

Another you need to get from AMD website.

This includes an issue with the L3 cache on AMD processors that could result in decreased performance.

I thought MS already fix the issue on previous patch. So those benchmark that with supposedly after patch is still not accurate.

This new patch will install previous patch if the user did not update previous patch.

If already installed. then it only came with security patches.

Recently bought a 1440p 144hz monitor for my personal laptop. When i connect the monitor to the laptop with the included hdmi cable, i couldn't select to drive the monitor with GPU and i cant select 144hz refresh rate.
I tried to select performance mode in the nvidia control panel as suggested by many on the internet but still cant connect the monitor to the gpu. It is always using the integrated graphics instead.
I also tried to update the drivers but no luck.

I am using acer aspire 15 with MX250 gpu in it.

If your laptop only came with HDMI 1.4, you can't drive 1440p in 144hz.

Normally to drive 144hz in 1440p, DP is required or HDMI 2.0 and above.

Also it is always drive by iGPU for Windows, the Nvidia only kick in when you gaming or using apps required it or you set to it.

This had nothing to do with Windows 11 as it is also same in Windows 10.

I believe the HDMI port is not HDMI 2.0. Get yourself a DP cable and connect your laptop to the monitor. By the way, your laptop have DP port?

This is actually a little bit out topic since already cover the hardware limitations of laptop ifself

The consumer grade non-gaming laptop usually only have hdmi 1.4. There’s no display port neither dedicated or using type c alt mode.

You will have to live with hardware limitations of your laptop and hopefully in the future you can get a new gaming laptop that supports hdmi 2.0 or display port (some gaming laptops have dedicated display port) or type c alt mode that can output display port, some gaming laptop can allow monitor to direct connect to dedicated graphics
