if you right click and you see a lot odd programs associate it to the menu, it's partially windows at fault, then those programs self register the DLL make shit slower
google this "remove programs associate with right click", Windows for ages made this difficult to remove it.

TLDR if you want to reduce the overhead of rightclick menu, dont let program associate it with right click menu.
My right click menu is as tall as the screen height lol,

another trick is remove the menushowdelay to 0ms, default is always 400ms.

W11 very depend on CPU performance, on W10 it will be even faster.
Ram sweet spot is 16gb but bigger the better, i have R7 5700U, the thermal throtting with my PC is crazy it will keep scaling down the CPU clock lol
It's nearing 80c with when gaming, i have 32GB ram but it does not help much, the whole HTPC need to put inside fridge to be able to operate properlly.

so no, people werent imagining an imaginary issue (for this specific issue. doesnt mean everything can be blamed on this as other things possibly happen). something did cause these bsods for ssds.




so what it came down to, update the ssd firmware.

if i am not mistaken, in Jay's video the root cause was the newer motherboard firmware was causing his issue. as when he used an older firmware the problem went away.

so maybe for his case at least it's not related to windows update causing ssd issue?

I removed UAC and UAC buckler completely thats why it didnt show up in my Task Manager .. AggregatorHost is related to Windows Update, can be terminated manually if want or just pause the updates .. anyway ure computer always show funny things

Recently I noticed when I go to Display setting, the screen will somehow hangs and nothing shows.

After some testing, found out it is caused by Windows update KB5065426 (Security Update). After uninstalled it, the Display setting is back to normal.

It happened to all the notebooks / mini pc I am maintaining.

i delete to recycle bin more easy to screenshot
and yesterday delete today is come back

Temp folder store cached data for browser, your program temp data, file/folder index, you only delete if it become too large or experience programe issue.
if you keep clearing, you delete the "memory" created by your program and force it to make new one, your program start-up become slow...

It's hidden away from plain sight because it's not mean for regular clearing out

I just delete every cpl of days, together with c:\windows\temp

I have shortcuts to these 2 folders in my Windows Explorer, so just click, select all, and delete.

Few month a time i will check anything i can clear up

Just 2 big folder no idea, nvidia shader cache folder, near 10GB, windows, winsxs folder 15GB, but winsxs cannot do anything, i run disk clean up only free up 2GB

I don't have the Nvidia folder.

WinSxS, I don't touch directly.
I just run Disk Cleanup to reduce size if possible...
