but year win11 is analogue of vista/win8, win 7 was awesome for years until W10.
the new update changed a lot of thing also broke the old control panel, mobility center now is half functioning only.
it's too crumblesome to use it, the right click menu is one of the best example of retard function in Win11

the other part made by Microsoft are awesome, like WSL/WSA, web browser acceleration via Direct2D, D3D 12 ultimate,

I was using W11 for a while both normal and insider editions. Both also sucks!

Now all back to W10 with custom debloat tool. I'll probably move back to W11 after 2025. Wasting time having to relearn everything from scratch. W10 no need to relearn anything except for hidden features. Everything else same as W95 previously.

I feel W11 is a public alpha project that MS using the data for W12 later. For every generation of Windows, there will be the shit ones like W95, W98, WMe, WVista, W8 and now W11.

Good ones like W95OSR2, W98SE, WXP, W7 and W10 all excellent and great OSes.

If doing clean install windows 10 / 11 on same machine, just press I don't have product key then after goes into Windows, look for activation status, it should show Windows is activated with digital license

Do not need to format.

Search Recovery in the settings.

You will given 2 options:

1. Reset keep data.
2. Reset remove all data.

Either way it is recommend to backup first.

• update and shutdown - useful when you are rush and no time waiting but need to off the PC. This update is not a complete update, it just half update to let you quickly to off the PC.
• update and restart - completed update, required longer time and restart several times.

Yes recently on my PC and laptop happened the same, I choose update and shutdown but moments later I see it did not shut down but at the login screen.
