Every month RxB bank will send current account statement to my email inbox. This time when I open the statement and look, inside is other people's account. Got name, address and transaction details. That means my account details also exposed to other people? Anybody got same issue?

If it were me,

I'd blank the name, address, personal details and savings then post in FB become viral, RHB customer relation will surely contact you.

No phone number in there. I ikan bilis, malas and poor. Worth to do it?

most useless bank ever. Call center nobody will answer phone call. Imagine if lose your credit card and nobody answers your phone call. LOL

Doesn't matter if happens to others or not.
Happens to you is bad enough.

This is serious stuff.
The guy can easily call bank to change your details now.

This is an automatic fine from BNM. Please report to them and CC the bank in the report.

Will report this once I confirm my data also exposed to third party.

I received someone else's bank statement.

How do you intend to confirm whether your data is exposed to third party? The bank will deny everything.

Statement not password protected?

Not sure about RHB, other bank such as Maybank protect the PDF file with password.

Most probably someone wrongly registered your email for their bank account. Most people don't know how email address works.

Example:
barackobama@gmail.com
barack.obama@gmail.com

is the same email account.

There are lots of other rules.

Highly doubt it, I just received another email from the bank urgently requesting me to delete the email containing the bank statement.
That indirectly means the bank actually screwed up big time.

I opened my statement w my password and it's somebody else account statement. I tried calling their helpline.. no answer. Left my hp number but rhb didn't call back. Emailed their customer service..mailbox full.
At last I just emailed their customer advocacy this morning.
Received their email saying technical problem on their part. And bit to open the account attachment..too late.

You can take a look at their facebook page, I can see growing numbers of people complaining about receiving someone else's bank statements.

Yes I did receive 3rd party account with all details name address.. Good thing my account is not active if other people want to see mine. speaking of which the person (s) / dept in charge should be having nightmares by now.Its a serious blunder violating the banking Act!

Found her fb. Too lazy to tell her that all her emails from AM Bank goes to my email since there is no statement, just bunch of promotional email and notification whenever someone transferred money to her account

PS: Oh baru baca the other guy's replies. RHB sends orang lain punya statement to him, with his password. That one mmg no defense, mmg RHB fcked up lol

Can confirm true, wife has received someone else’s statement encrypted with her password

Also dapat email from bank asking to delete that email

They've even sent an SMS asking us to check our emails.

Really really huge mess up.

The one I received can see really sensitive info as it is an active salary account.
