My new house does not have Unifi coverage, I plan to buy a LiteBeam Wireless Bridge to receive the signals from my parent house which is 1.5km away.
Is it legal? I asked the Lazada seller and he said it was legal.

Are there any cons of wireless bridge? Will it increase radiation and harm to the human? lol

In terms of legality, its not illegal as long as you use 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz spectrum. But in terms of Unifi TnC i believe it is not wrong also as long it is for own usage and not for reselling bandwidth.
If you have clear line of sight between 2 places it can be done. Any blockage between the 2 sites (trees, vehicles passing through etc) will effect the maximum throughput and connectivity. Ideally you need to mount the APs as high as you can.

I am also interested to know about the reception.

My homestay is about 300m from my place and currently both using unifi fibre. If is good, I will cancel the homestay subscription for a one time payment cost esp the slow booking since the start of mco last year. Not sure when the pandemic will be ending.

Appreciate your review after installation.

Thanks.

.
No issue, it's normally rated IP65 or higher. Suitable for outdoor use.

I am using Ruijie EST310, supposely for CCTV but should be stable for P2P as well. No need do anything because when you buy 1 set it's already pre-configured, just plug and play.

EST310 Specs
