Back in November 2020 it was reported that DBKL sold a piece of land along Jalan Desa Aman 1 to Tadmax Resources Bhd, now known as Maxim Global Berhad.

The exact location is not shown but based on the news' "East side", the location is likely to be the old flats opposite Mutiara Central or the food court (Pusat Penjaja Taman Desa Aman) next to it, both of which have been said by locals to have been approached about redevelopment plans.

The developer has been given development approval but they are appealing for a slightly higher ratio. Their latest application was submitted on 21 May 2021:

Not likely the old flats you mentioned because their lot number differs from the lot number you mentioned here. Those flats are freehold whereby further digging into the company involved revealed they bought a 2.6 acre leasehold land.
