Seriously though, either malaymail editor saja stir shit up,
Or dg forgot his job scope.

There is totally no reason for a health director general, in his official capacity, to know or decide anything about election nor emergency state.

Its only relevant if the question is about the pandemic situation.

Sounds like health minister really threw this guy under the bus.
Bodoh kerajaan gagal cannot help other gomen agency with press stuff.
Jkom dapat berbilion buat apa?

bro. some of the government decision, they will use KKM advice to make the decision because this is proper things to do. if u dont know what u doing, better asking correct people.

and his job scope, is related with people's health. of cos he will give advice, which save lots of people live as a doctor do.
and he just merely giving an advice, if proceed with election, more cases will go up, more people die. he is not decide anything about election. those are agong power. U READ THE NEWS OR NOT ?? bodo

i cant brain why some people why so BODO  laugh.gif  laugh.gif  laugh.gif  laugh.gif

Indeed.
Election doesn't fall under health ministry.
The emergency ordinance doesnt directly fall under health ministry either.

Im not blaming dg for what he said.
The way he answered is neutral, and right enough.

The concern is why is this question is asked in such way and directed to dg like he, a non democratically elected government servant, have the power to call off a democratic process.
At least, ask the minister.

Im questioning the competency of the reporter, the editor, and the government for allowing dg to be exposed to such unnecessary pr risk.

If the government decided not to run the election after lifting the emergency state by using "health concern", this guy will kena.
If another outbreak after ge, pun dia kena.

Enough la being the black sheep.
