i don't understand the obsession with high internet speeds. I am a power user and i only use basic 30 mbps service. Good enough to stream 4k youtube videos + multiple videos simultaneously. No problems whatsoever with multiple zoom meetings and videos running concurrently.

They key is your router. Invest in a quality router. If you router cost RM150, then expect poor performance but if  your router RM1000, then naturally the performance is better la.

Then you need to know how far you are from your router if you use Wifi. Even 10m away from router starts to be too far and you get some spinning wheels once you start to stream 4k videos.

ISP Free router is rubbish even in both wired and wifi mode. The  cheap processor inside was not designed to handle the high traffic and multiple users. You can keep that as a spare in case your main router fails.

You can try to connect a wired LAN connection to your router to see if you still have problems. If LAN is okay then problem is with Wifi not your internet service.

Different people , different need

I am using mid tier ASUS router also got this kind of result, if stock router surely much more worse than this.

300Mbps sub . on LAN

but in my case I suspect the local connection is congested. before this can easily get 200Mbps and above

Malaysia speed is bs especially congested areas. I am playing for digi infinite 150 especially evenings especially weekend evenings I can watch through chromecast youtube at 240p.

don't use mobile data to compare to fiber optic, it's 2 completely different world

mobile data speed good or not really depends which area u stay and where do u stay in that area
some area, i ran speed test alone can do 60Mbps...my area?...3-4Mbps
both 4G+

Me using TIME even at 100mbps last time feel way way way waaayyyyy better then when using Unifi at the same speed.

So to me, yeah, 100mbps is better than lower speed internet, but TIME 100mbps is way better than unifi 100mbps.

It is very subjective. Some area that are congested might not see such speed during peak hours and if u r staying near a business or industrial area, u might be able to have a sustainable speed accross hours. But not in a dense residential area where everyone is chipping bit of the bandwidth together.

How many users?

Typically 100Mbps per user is enough unless you're downloading/torrenting all the time.
