Hi guys. Wanted to check if the police at a road block did not issue any summon paper, does that mean I got away with it?

Story:
Just started my car and about to hit the corner (was about to wear my seatbelt) but was caught by a hidden police. That time I knew dy sure kena at the road block in front. When they stopped me, I told them la..I just came out of the corner and was wearing my seatbelt. Give me chance. Then he said "How to help? You help me la?". He just took my driving license..(use some machine don't know check don't know what)..then he say..how to settle? I said I don't know.."how much? then he said.."you tell me how much la..summon for not wearing seatbelt is RM150"..I said I don't have much bang (showed him my wallet). He say just go back later and check your myeg you will have the summon..."Jalan".

No summon paper/receipt. Nothing.Elek.

All in all, I felt that he wanted to try their luck with duit kopi je..

Note: I check Myeg (after like 30mins) but no summons yet. Not sure system slow or what.

What you guys think?

A summon s not a fine, it's actually a letter summoning you to court. Paying the fine is to settle the issue without the need to go to court.

The letter (or summons) must be acknowledged and signed by receiver. That's why it's never called traffic fines but traffic summons

That's what I thought but nothing. So wondering how they want to prove? Curious me.

Just pay the summon.

Nowadays, some dont issue summon for parking offence. They just update in their system.

Other than myeg, you can install their own pdrm apps 'mybayar' for faster update and payment of summon.

Summon won't issue same day la. Takes 24 hours (fastest) or during the week. Its the same with parking offence. I got the paper and check online to pay, but it is not keyed in yet. The next day can see it already.

A summon is a summon. Don't ask for "chance" or want to bribe the officer or anything even if he's the one initiating.

Be a responsible citizen.

Asking for a clean government/ enforcement starts with yourself.

Last time I saw police print out the slip and give it to the rider. No sign.
But I know system update are slow

I doubt the police will fitnah any driver. Dont do unlawful thing while driving will not warrant a stop by police.

How many times in your driving years have you been stop by police for something you didnt do ?

Let say he see you beating the red light from opposite, tak kan he going to take out his camera. His summon is supreme unless you want to challenge in court. If he is in good mood, he may just stared at you.
