 [WTA] M.2 NVME Drive Issue

Dear Sifu, i need you guys help.

my current issue is M.2 NVME Drive plug on the motherboard and in windows it detect as a portable device,
how can i fix it.

i got 2 nvme ssd plug on my motherboard, but just only 1 of the nvme ssd is showing as a portable drive.
another one SN520 256gb nvme ssd also plug into the motherboard and boot as windows drive din have this issue happen.

Check at Storage Controllers
See what driver it using.

You got change the driver before this?

this is a new board and just finish setup on today only, and also just finish install all the driver.

Disable hot swap in bios.

Last time I also got that msg when I install custom storage controller driver.
But using MS standard driver should not show that.

Or you can try using custom storage controller driver

I personally using mod+signed Samsung NVMe Drivers

there is no hot swap option for me to disable on NVME section under bios setting

Use update driver at Storage Controller. You need to check which controller for Adata. Or just change both.

Open Device Manager (accessible by right clicking your Start Button)

Expand the Disc Drives section

Right-click on the SSD and choose Properties

On the Policies tab, make sure 'write caching on the device' is enabled

Make sure there is no 'optimize for quick removal' enabled

the drive is default setting as you mention, but at taskbar thr still got a usb removal icon that and showing the same thing as my 1st image postout.

 

Change to:

0.0158sec    1.01    5 queries    GZIP Disabled
