Some players like mount really lucky get endless opportunities to play eventhough they were just raw talent but with more matches played, they were able to show their quality

even though lukaku stays with us all this time, who can guarantee he will develop into who he is today? he maybe better or maybe worse
the truth is, we win trophies without lukaku during those period, so I prefer to move on in selling all those potential players issue

But to blame the club as "impatient" is simply unfair. How did he end up as england NT during the euro qualifiers then? Esp under lampard, lots of academy elite players being given the chance to play including tammy, mount, james. And we are talking full seasons. Not bit part players.

There are no exact formula to brush rough diamond. Some might shine with more games with parent clubs..some just need game times with loan stints. While for some players, avoiding injuries are the only bless that they wish for.

Lukaku had less chance with us and was sold for 30m. He never had the same opportunity to play full seasons + europe games with us.
