For 27", it is better option get 2560x1440 resolution.

tumpang thread, I am also eying on 2k 144hz, budget around 2k, preferred IPS if possible, mainly for gaming. currently using Dell U2414H

Can recommend a screen that is 27inch and 1440p min but no need high refresh rate... Maybe 60 or 75hz and not curved...
