share experience , jz back from accompany my father for vaccine injection

- previously stadium titiwangsa reschedule to Mitec at Jln Duta, from JLN loke yew to there no road block and smooth , check ur waze beforehand if u worry.
- rm5 parking rate at underground, maybe u can find parking outside for free...
- please dont come too early, i saw some old people got block and wait outside the venue entrance
- bring pen if u want to fill the form beforehand, but u will pass the form to staff to fill in at the registration & consent station
- venue / hall is spacious and got enough staff imo, process quite fast, arrive 2pm, 15minute wait for registration etc , 5minute+- wait for the jab , 10-15minute resting (pzifer)
- my father only high blood pressure so no extra checking/measurement etc . chinese, jab Pzifer. I did try ask got extra slot for jab or not, tak deh
- eat before going for jab.
- no free gift, maybe yes if u say u havent eat, but i think they will sound u

- u need to SCAN the mysejahtera when u at registration & consent station , SCAN again after u/parent took the jab in the injection station, then refresh afterward.
- keep the vaccine card for next jab else u will be deny entry.

- 3 week for 2nd pzfizer jab at same time, the end.

hi may I know the old people blocked outside is because they came too early or no appointment?

i think is too early but i didnt ask the guard

venue basically got 2 main entrance, 1 at ground floor , 1 at underground parking . both i oso saw some ppl outside waitin on chair.
when u reach entrance, u need show guard the vaccine receive mysejahtera only can go in, then u head to waiting station to be direct to registration & consent station.

At the vaccination page, there is an instruction to scan vaccination location QR when you arrive. Is this the same as the Mysejahtera QR for check in?

Meaning, do I need to scan MySJ check in QR and vaccination location QR? Are they the same code?

not the same; that scan QR is for the barcode AFTER injection; the booth will have the barcode and the nurse will direct you to scan it and she will check; it contains the vaccine number, batch number, expiry date, etc

Did you do anything to reschedule to Mitec or it is auto reflected at Mysejahtera.

i scan this at the registration and consent station table, the part where u go to two staff to assess the vaccine recipient status/health.
but i scan twice coz it seem like it didnt update, till it change to the "scan after taking the injection/vaccine" part.

Do they allow you to enter together with your father throughout the stations?

Matrade also recently announced reduced parking rate to RM2 per entry. However, from the map, it looks really far away. Anyone know how far is it? Google maps said 10minutes but seem like it's taking a long way round?

so your dad dont have mysejatera app, does that mean you have to scan for yourself and then for your dad with your own app?
is there two parts? kinda confused about this since my dependent dont have the app.

yes, i enter with my father , i didnt get the jab
its jz beside , but they fence it around, u might get better luck find open parking at mitec



he got, but he jz scan for "entering" like how we scan when enter shop, then i do the rest on mine when at the registration and consent station. if u blur u can jz show ur app to them, they will guide u.
i think u can scan for them with the "scan bla bla when ur dependent arrive"

so you accompany your dad all the time from the start until he gets the jab correct?

Just took my father for first dose in mitec. Appointment time is 10.30am but we reach there 945am. Good experience. Usher will lead you to the right hall. 10am already done the vacinnation. Rest for 30 min then can go back

are they still giving pfizer?

gua use waze, but waze shows me longer route, when it can be shorten by half. xample, am at wangsa melawati, waze shows route to use mrr2 to batu caves way, when i can use/take duke highway nearby to go to jalan kucing, and make uturn to dutamas. if you dah biasa on roads, study dulu...

Nice, I accompanied my mom for hers on 31 May, which was literally MITEC's first day of operation. Appointment was 2pm but we only finished at 4.30+ because of the long queues. Others also waited for hours. I understood that two vaccination centres closed down and shifted their appointments over, potentially doubling the crowd there, hence the crazy queue...

She also took Pfizer and it was a short 15mins wait after (to confirm no extreme adverse reactions).

Glad to know they smoothened out the processes in days. Other notes:
- Toilets are relatively clean, dirt and smell wasn't too bad (I did see one clogged toilet at the ladies but considering the crowd and 3rd world mentality, not bad d lol)
- everyone was very helpful. Interestingly they announced in English/Malay/Chinese, I guess to cater for the Chinese aunties and uncles crowd.
- they do not offer any other vaccine here, only Pfizer.
- dependent is allowed entry and company everywhere. Note: my mom registered on her own, no dependency... They didn't check my credentials. I guess they operated on good faith. 😅

my own experience:-

appointment 1130am, arrived at 1100am and waited at the first hall. (they group it into different appointment time ie 11am, 1130am, 12pm, etc) so no need go too early.

once 1130am, still need to wait further as they go in by batch. waited till 12pm then only enter to the second hall.

in the second hall, took the queue number, and waited again. i think about 15mins. then go for registration. the staff/doctor will check the form. on that day, they got both sinovac/pfizer (suprisingly allow to choose). but limited stock for sinovac. (if not mistaken, 200 vs 2000 pfizer) but decided to take sinovac since less side effect as advised by the doctor.

then waited AGAIN to jab. i think waited for 20mins++ as they only have ONE counter for sinovac. and totally no queue management at all. and the ppl there just jump queue and no one managing it at all.

after jab, go to the next counter to do some final checking (eg next appointment, etc)

then go to the final area for rest. maybe depends on the vaccine, got 15mins and 30mins wait. you can just go home after the 15mins/30mins. no need to tell anyone (according to the staff there) but got some staff stationed there, so i guess if you not feeling well you can tell them.

overall, spend too much time waiting like in a bank. they could've streamline the process further.

I think mitec got Pfizer and sinovac. And it's depend on the doctor to decide which vaccine type u cucuk.

My mum cucuk Pfizer(have chronic disease) ..meanwhile others cucuk sinovac in the same time... So I guess this is the logic

My experience similar to TS too, my dad 1st jab at the titiwangsa stadium very lembap, long queue, not organized and have to queue under the hot sun. Took couple hours queing and finishing whole process.

MITEC is wayy better, whole process including queing and observation time just 30 min. Got nice aircond, spacious, short queue. Although appointment time is 7.30, we are allowed to take the jab earlier. Sampai 6.55 pm, balik 7.25 pm.

My dad cucuk both doses Pfizer.

they only know if have extra dose when approaching closing time.
There have a list of standby person who able to reach the PPV within allocated time.
but now it getting rare because everyone is anxious and rushing to get their dose now.

Yeah, done 1st dose for both parents. Same as yours, one manual entry.

based on my nurse friend...her vaccination...she say once she enter, she will deal with the tech crew for scanning that QR code
but i've never encountered this tech crew before

my mom did her first jab here also

overall very pleasant experience. not too crowded, and didn’t have to wait for long to get consulted at each counter until the injection. the whole thing probably took less than an hour. very spacious hall and got air cond so it’s not stuffy

WHEN YOU FIRST ARRIVE AT MAIN LOBBY
use the standard SHOP one scan QR code. This is the same old QR code when scanning at any shop.

WHEN IT IS YOUR TURN TO JAB (in the booth)
then only you will scan the BARCODE inside vaccination page.

I got 2nd dose appointment in mysejahtera on the day after 1st jab. Some others had gotten their 2nd appointment later on in the same day as their 1st jab. Give it some time.

will there be ample car park space at the basement ? or we would have to resort to alternative around the area ?

ample car pack, got those buggy to fetch you to the entrance too if you've parked too far so no worries there (especially if you're bringing your elderly parents)

How about those taking their vaccine at UM, can share experience especially with parking space?

Think to drive there instead of take GRAB cause worry about risk of infection if take public transport.

It's a big with plenty of space. And best ot all its FOC. You won't have problem getting parking. There's just not enough people getting vaccinated in a day , hence easy parking.

This morning went to IDCC... Got door gift from Nestle summore. Hahaha.

Thanks for highlighting this. PLEASE DON'T ARRIVE AT VACCINE CENTER TOO EARLY! I know being punctual is good and all but if everybody arrives 1hr early during MCO the vaccine centre will become a cluster. Please just arrive on time, at most maybe 5min early. And go straight home right away after vaccination, you are not immune to corona yet immediately after getting jabbed, your body needs to rest!

Just sharing from my 2 doses @ MITEC

- Both appointments I got at around 3.00pm, arrived around 2.50pm from Sunway. Used NKVE from Subang Toll - Duta Toll, smooth traffic only 1 road block as you exit at Duta Toll.

- Park underground B1, quite spacious and ample parking. If you park quite far from the entrance, got buggy to help bring you. Scan your MySejahtera and proceed up the central escalator.

- Plenty of RELA/Ushers to help guide to my Hall.

- Entered the hall and went to the registration counter, please try bring your own pen, fill in the form and proceed for consultation with the doctor. Doctor will ask if got any allergy and general health questions.

- All checks out, then proceed to another area to be jabbed. Will enter specific cubical and the nurse/doctor will check MySejahtera profile. Get jabbed, needle quite thin and didn't feel much.

- Proceed to the next counter where they will issue the vaccination card and update MySejahtera.

- Placed in 15 minute observation for both my doses then done can head back.

Overall the entire place is spacious and cold, best bring a jacket if you not too fond of the cold. Que was minimal for me and the whole process took 30-45mins.

Hall 2 KKM? Last time they only give Pfizer to nursing moms. Now all 3 vaccines approved, so dunno latest

parking at B1 is RM5 for 3 hours, but vaccination only takes <1hr

Got my 2nd dose today. Smooth and easy. There's no longer any time slot restriction...as long as your appointment is for that particular day, just walk in. Me happy and so very hungry!

Parking easy. Huge basement parking like shopping mall.

Many ushers and volunteers assisting us.

Smooth process. Done in less than 1 hour.

Got free 100plus at the last station can grab 1 balik minum.

mysej stated 930 - is it am or pm?
my assumption is am, but i saw few posts above there was appt at 730pm, this raised my query..

If it is 7:30 pm, the time displayed will be 19:30
