Yeah I think so, now the colocation is KUL. There goes my Singapore DisneyPlus... So unstable. Hope Warp will let us choose the colocation soon.
*
I suspect the colocation is HKG
How did you check the location?

After turning on WARP, try going to https://dnsleak.com/ and do a test
Mine is showing:

ISP: Cloudfare
Country: Hong Kong

Anyway for those who has a subscription to VPN but their SG servers are blocked from D+, you can still use WARP
I have a complicated but working solution, it involves using your PC to share VPN hotspot to your mobile phone/android TV, then turning on WARP concurrently
Guide for using PC to share VPN hotspot - https://support.nordvpn.com/Connectivity/Wi...-Windows-10.htm

What i did was, have my PC connect to Singapore VPN then turn on mobile hotspot to share with my mobile phone
On my mobile phone, I turned on WARP - dnsleak.com shows that I'm now in SG. By connecting to a SG VPN beforehand, I'm forcing WARP to think that I'm in SG, essentially forcing my colocation to SG server
This will show SG content on D+ thumbup.gif

you are a saint. But wouldn't this cause significant speed slowdown due to VPN + hotspot?
*
Ya, the speed will be affected for sure. But since SG is nearby, I suppose the impact shouldn't be too bad
If the speed can be maintained above 25 Mbps, 4k streaming shouldn't be an issue with some slight buffering

Another method is to set up VPN on the router to connect to SG servers (eliminate the use of PC hotspot sharing) then use WARP on device
WARP is great for unblocking D+ SG while using SG VPN

Anyone managed to install D+ (not rubbish Hotstar) on Mi Box? I tried to download the APK, it tells me the box do no support downloads. I went directly to play store, it tells me my box is not supported.
*
You'll need a non-Malaysian Google account (can be obtained easily by signing up without entering your phone number)
Once signed in to your non-Malaysian Google account on your mi box, the app should be accessible on play store

Btw is your mibox the global version with built in Chromecast?

You using Maxis? Me Unifi still HKG.
*
Unifi international routing sucks that's why unifi WARP end up in HKG
If HKG has Disney Plus then we might have access to HK's content instead

This is the account signed in my MiBox, technically, it's not a Malaysian account right since I did not add a phone number?
*
Not necessarily
Google could have determined your account region/locale based on your sign in location or payment method long time ago unless you have specifically set a US billing address earlier on to prevent that from happening
You should be able to see your account region by logging to https://pay.google.com/ -> Settings -> Payment Profile -> Country/Region

Sign into your google account and see if this page is available and if your devices
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...sney.disneyplus
If the install button is greyed out, means your account is very likely to a malaysian account

Well, I used my PC and changed my mi box account region to US and it was successful. On top of that, I connected to a US server VPN while doing so just to be sure.
Then I went over to Play Store on the PC and able to select Mi Box to install D+. Happy. Clicked on install.

Hours and hours after that, my Mi Box still not showing the D+ app. Using the Mi Box, connect to US server VPN, and then use the PC to re-initiate the download, no vail.
Access D+ Play Store via link, still showing not available on Mi Box. Quick check on Play Store, Unifi TV app still visible. Do I maybe need to re-login back the gmail on my Mi Box?
*
You can try relogin, at the same time try clearing the cache/data of playstore on your mibox.

My experience of using a brand new account to get D+ was quite straightforward. Just add the new account onto mibox, then D+ can be downloaded without any issue.

hi, anyone have a detailed plans list for this?

thinking of testing to subscribe for this 3 months, is it worth it?
*
If you read through this thread - you'll probably see a lot of ppl complaining about the substandard of hotstar variation of D+ available in Malaysia. In fact I've seen quite a few who wouldn't continue after 3 months, some like me opted for the international D+ instead (using VPN)

jimmychangas has a very good summary written here (diff thread):

If you're keen on Disney's Original Series such as Star Wars' Mandalorian, Marvel's stuff and don't feel like messing with VPN you can consider subscribing to D+ Hotstar but do take note of the above

Hmm, I just got some 3 months codes for Disney+ from my Amazon devices purchase. Should I try it with my FireTV stick 4K with Sharkvpn on my 300mbps Maxshit hmm.gif
*
Does Cloudfare's WARP work on FireTV stick?
If yes, then high possibility that you can access to SG D+ using WARP since you're on Maxis

how do you actually subscribe Disney+ USA? I tried to subscribe but it was rejected because it's malaysian credit card  hmm.gif  hmm.gif  hmm.gif  hmm.gif
*
Credit card method confirm kena blocked by D+ international, I doubt even BigPay is working.
However, there was a glitch that was shared by khainiz94 and jimmychangas earlier and I managed to subscribe using their method
Not sure if this glitch is still working - https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...ost&p=101213789
At the moment, TM Unifi confirm won't work as WARP colocation for unifi is currently locked to HK instead of SG. Can try other ISP/telco instead

If you have iphone/ipad, another known method is use US itunes account but have to top up with US$ credit (using gift card) before subscribing

Does Disney+ accepted payment directly from Google play store?
Example like HBO Max can directly subscribe with US Account playstore and top up online at SEAGM.
*
Yes it is possible to subscribe and pay via Google Play store

What kind of reply is this? Launching in 3rd quarter? So what did I downloaded from WebOS Malaysia? And contact Hotstar? So the game of ball throwing has begun?

Disney+ international had a perfectly fine functioning app across most of the platform
Don't know why they had to go and create this hotstar crap with a separate user database with poor app quality and release it for poor countries

Netflix was doing perfectly fine with their single unified app and user database across the globe

Unifi is so stupid one.
Maybe got issue with routing again.
I get HKG on WARP, whereas my Maxis, Digi and Yes 4G all get SIN.

WARP SG is working again with TM Unifi but need to use IPv6
For IPv4 still route through HK

UPDATE (6th July 2021): After the auto renewal, I can confirm my Disney+ account remained the same; content ratings settings untouched. Which is good.
*
I suppose the auto renewal will be renewed using the same previous payment method?
Like your case, the subscription is tied to your spare US account.

I have to wait 1 year later to know whether it will be renewed properly since mine is tied to my main account.
