So I want to start a sole prop business involving artistic creations, but I have zero idea on how to generate income from this business, or any related activities that similar businesses usually do. It’s gonna be a primarily online business, but I’ve seen people making physical merch as well.

1. If fanart is involved, will I get in trouble?
2. How do I market this type of business? International audiences are considered as well.

I’ve read a bit about the tax forms from this thread, but I want to solidify the business model first, wanna hear what the art folks here have to say.

After seeing your work, I see you have potential but at the same time, i also notice the work seems incomplete and unpolished. I believe those are just some of your work in progress.

Start with merch, cups, t-shirts ...... look for printing company ... you'll need insta to promote, if you good at 3d make custom miniature also. Avoid using a brand of someone else or copy and paste.
