Actually I got a storeh. This was like few years back.

I know this Orthopaedic surgeon, earns prolly 100-120k a month type. Genius in his field.

Then came this shaddy scammer, tell him beautiful story to invest in this oil stock or something like that, he will earn some monthly kickback. So sceptical at first he invested around 150k, then saw that he has like a passive income for 3 months or so. Got greedy, he invested around 1.5mil into it, then all of a sudden the scammer said cause of oil price drop or embargo in somewhere, difficult to pay for now but promise the next month. Then, it became another month and so forth.

This Doctor then came to a realisation he kena scam, he asked his neighbour, quite a well known Along, and since the Doctor had helped the Along's MIL, he agreed to help to get his money back.

Here's the kicker. The Along manage to track the scammer down, talk to him trying to ask him to give the money back. But once the meeting done, instead of getting the Doctor's money, the Along invested half a million into the shady scam.

After hearing, I'm like whaaatttt. That scammer has some mad skills to be able to make people part with money.
