Ya, guess need to wait for knowing what's case.
For most people that are not using any China website, I guess their issues is on 3G network closed la.

Like me just host file easy redirection to other country CDN server for China website, so others still connect to broken one while I am fast on those China website with increased latency, but I should consider about setup a local DNS that act like a small host file for smartphone now.
And most people depend on local CDN caching like Facebook and Twitter(lucky) with local contents, except they start browsing oversea website that only having SG or HK CDN server, those 5G traffic will only going to local CDN as local traffic.

Not including CloudFlare la, keep getting route to SG and HK only.

bcos Celcom use different upstream and not linked to NTT or Hurricane Electric that having issue right now.

I think there was a short network outage at that time. From 5.12am to 5.20am.

This is my experience regarding slow international connection issue During 2012 - 2014

Slow connection to international sites has been there since Streamyx era where you will face slow downlaod speeds when downloading files from international servers. Movie and video streaming also keeps bufferring.
My expereince is no point contatcing them to lodge reports or even escalating this to higher up because in the end the result is the same
1. Customer service has no idea what you are talking about.
2. Technical guy will come to your house pluck in their equipment to use. As long as Youtube, Facebook, SpeedtTest OK, they will say OK no problem close case.

For my case, I did escalate by bombaring the then Prime Minister  Najib Razak qustiojing him why he allow TM to cheat customer by throttling connection speed. I did able to produce evidences to a special offcier that help me on my case. So that special offier did help me to work wit MCMC on that. TM high level technican did came to my house a few times, test this test that and show him how I have proven that TM is throttling connection.
In the end, they have admitted that (They are indeed throtlting connection) openly in the conference call between officer from PMO, MCMC that they are indeed throttling connection because they do not have so much bandwidth allocation from international counterparts and the working relationship is not that great either. This issue is face by everyone throughout the nation.
They said you can try to upgarde to Unifi for an improved experience or use VPN for now. My connection was smooth for quite sometime and I switched to Unifi a year later. Never face those issues anymore until the past 1 year.

Still having to put up with this bullshit that started Q4 last year. Connections aggressively capped round the clock. Anyone else having this problem or had it resolved?

Can't wait for my Unifi contract to end. I only wish I could "best effort" my bills like they do with their non-existent service.
