Hi, can anyone introduce a gynae who supports natural birth at Sunway Medical Center?

I want a natural birth as this is my third and both kids previously natural birth.

Please let me know or any to avoid, thank you!

Most of the gynae recommend natural birth over ceasarean.
But...ya, a big but, it still depends on the condition of mum and the fetus.

As you know many possibilities might arise throughout the pregnancy journey which affects whether or not you'll be getting SVD or C-Sec.

Maybe you could consult your previous doctor where you delivered the previous 2 babies and see what he/she says?

Going to a gynae that is patience enough and not rushing for everything is the key. You'll be taken care well. Doctor famous or not doesn't really matters as this is very individual.

I'm not looking for a famous doctor, but from what l heard some private hospital doctors only do c-sec?

So far no issues, no gdm no hypertension *touchwood*. No previous doctors to consult as both babies delivered at government hospital by nurses, thats why l'm looking for recommendations.

If not l'm most probably going back to government hospital. But because of covid, better find both sides to be safe.

Hi, you can reach out to sunmed to get a list of doctors. My wife is under https://www.sunwaymedical.com/doctor/dr-janani-sivanathan, as she's is also exploring non-government hospital due to covid.

somewhat related to this topic but a maternity nurse once gossip to me that reason why some doctors prefer c-section..

beyond the money, the doctor can also control the time of birth so he doesnt have to be on call 24/7 tongue.gif

Dr. Chuah Bee Poh? May I know how much is the charge each visit? I was seeing him in Tung Shin last time but now he is in sunway, a bit worried about the price.
