Its a generic medicine way past its 20 years patent period.
Thus, doesn't make profit to pharmaceutical companies.

This is why pfizer creating the same antiviral medicine, but with a different name so they can patent and make exclusive manufacturing rights to it.

my thoughts are 50 years ago, there were no covid that's why it is C-19

just like hepatitis B virus was discovered in 1965, so you are telling me to use the drug before 1965 to treat B.... can it really work?

is our equipment getting more accurate or there is more virus on Earth now? what do you think?

New applications for different drugs always happen all the time. Doesn't mean it couldn't be used for other treatment.
Here's a medical journal for thought:

Ivermectin: an award-winning drug with expected antiviral activity against COVID-19

And this is my personal opinion:
Its not profitable for drug companies to further research this. Its better for them to make a similar type drug and patent it for profit.

Kinda funny why KKM didn't bother doing a clinical study on pfizer's new antiviral drug but had it ordered for us. Do you think that is good enough?

expected is the keyword boss...
it just like car was meant to be a transport, not a mass killing machine but people still can use that to drive into crowds

hahaha, nice.
So you're saying the word expected is not convincing/good enough?

unfortunately not.
just like during friend meet up, i am expected to reach in 10mins but actually i just outta my house and the destination is like 30mins away and the bad news is not inclusive of finding parking if i'm driving.

so yea... expected is the keyword to play with.
or another scenario is, think of your ex....
ex said: "i didn't want to split up with you... i was expecting to marry you and unfortunately........" so yea
