I always read about properties being auctioned off but can't seem to find clear reference on the process like I know it will happen once you missed the payments for a few months but at which point the owners will be notified? Will the owner of a particular unit be notified that his/her unit will be lelong-ed?

There are some rumours that a unit in my place will be lelong-ed, how do verify it?

All notifications regarding the property in respect of a default will be notified to the owner in writing by registered mail.

Auctioneer will normally advertised the unit prior to auction via flyers, newspaper advert and through their website.

Agents will also advertise the units in iProperty, Propertyguru and some hang banners on traffic lights, lamp posts and trees.
