wat's good if i install the samsung CD?

i just got my u700.. like the silver ala executive as u put it.. as im an executive ma.. hahahaha!!

so far the fon ok.. a bit not used to it cuz previously using SE.. when i call i cant straight away press hang up.. i need to unlock first?

and can i customize the top button shortcut? cuz i dun wanna listen to MP3 when i press the top button..

and how do i copy contacts from SIM? i need to install the PC suite?

why i transfer song from another fon to my U700 will always save to my phone memory?
how to set to save in mem card automatically?

yeap.. u have to press another extra key to end call.. which a bit mafan.. and the key too sensitive until i accidentally call someone.. and panic to end the call!

and how come my battery cant last me dat long? if i use more often i tink 1 day habis battery..
maybe i shud try put the brightness to lowest..

another con would be the file transfer.. cuz i wanna transfer songs from my old fon to this U700.. but always end up in my phone memory.. and i transfer loads of songs not one by one.. so usually it prompts phone mem full..

another thing is the ringing tone volume.. so soft!! too soft until cannot hear..! i always call my gal and she cant hear it!!

nono.. my gal using same fon with me..
but the thing is sometimes she sent blank sms to me..
now no more aredi.. sometimes only..
but i did changed one setting.. which is Autoreply in profiles.. hope someone can tell me wat's dat option is for?

another thing is nowadays.. when i get any sms or miscall.. i will always have one new message together with the alert..
example, i get one new sms, will show 2 new sms..
if i get one new miscall.. will get 1 miscall and 1 new sms..

if u turned it on.. and u put a msg below the box..
once u get a misscall.. it will automatically reply to that miscall person with that msg u specified..

something like an autoreply email..

but the thing still puzzle me is y i always get new sms when i really received a new sms or a miscall ?

i have a popup alert saying i have 2 new sms but in fact i only have one..
if miscall.. i would have 1 miscall opoup and 1 new sms..
but in fact i have only 1 miscall..
when i select view.. nothing comes up.. back to my wallpaper screen..
weird eh?

another thing im gonna go to service centre check on my unit.. cuz the sliding not so smooth..

the sliding thingie not so smooth.. the technician sed no parts yet.. can wait..
but since it didn't disturb my usage.. ask me no need bother lor.. cuz still warranty for 18 months.. if something on then only ask them to check..

i also scared after they take this and that out the fon also dun feel like new.. scared other things will rosak..

one more thing.. y did all my sms stored in my SIM ? can i store all sms to my fon? i would have to move to the sms to fon mem myself..

they dun have one specific function saying store to sim or to fon mem?

but then after i moved some sms to my phone mem.. now all sms moving to fon mem liau.. but only one recently in my sim! weird!

basically... the UI is okay.. not bad in my opinion..
just some minor things that need to be more specific..
but overall a good stylish fon lor..

i've never use a samsung before.. this is my first.. and i tink it's not bad actually.. function wise depends on wat kinda functions u want..
but to me.. it's good enuf..

i tried using the maxis portal but seems like no games supporting my fon..
or maybe i point to the wrong link..

is ur incoming SMS all store in SIM or store to phone memory?
from the inbox, there is one small SIM card icon on the names.. i have to move to phone from inbox everytime i receive sms..

im using maxis!
no wonder laaa.. was wondering how come my maxis sim card so power can load a wallpaper into my fon!

orait jaroque.. i will then try filling up my SIM.. SIM can store up to 50 SMS laa.. u can check it by selecting memory status.

erm.. arissband.. im not sure how i fixed it.. but somehow after awhile the extra sms alert is gone.. hehe.. but i played around with the sms thingie..
i tink u try selecting the sms to save to Phone and see? maybe that'll eliminate the prob..

and yea.. i tink the silver lining does have some pretty bad paint job.. similar to Nokia N73..
i tink i need extra care.. but the thing is .. this unit is in plastic anyway.. i tink cuz to be as light as possible.. they use plastic instead of metal/alum/aloy?

my sis got it.. and the silver paint kinda like came of.. so my sis took the liberty to removed all silver paint..
