He received phone call from male stranger, A.
A said: Hi. My friend name. How are you?
Friend said: I am fine. Who are you?
A said: You can't recognized me?
Friend said: Are you XYZ?
A said: Blah blah blah story. I lost my phone and wallet. This is my new phone number.
Next day A called again.
A said: I am doing new IC now. I have to make payment to a client.
I need your help. Bank in X thousand. I will pay you back later.
Friend said: I don't have that much money.
A said: How about Y thousand? It is urgent.
In the end my friend didn't help A.
