show us some pics of it .
i would recommend u use bedding 1st . and get a 'toilet' for ur chin .
i get it from master chinchilla.
my chin learn how to use after 2 weeks.

yup , they know how to use the toilet, but dun know how to flush it .
ha...
sometimes they will pee at other places, so have to clean it . if not they will pee at that same spot again .

my chins dun have urine stains on it .
because they r grey and black color .
hardly see it . ha...

for those who want to toilet train their chin , maybe u can use my method.

1.put some used bedding with pee and poo into the new litter pan .
2. i use detol to wash my cage bottom . the smell can cover their urine smell.
3. just use water to wash ur litter pan , make sure got their urine smell there. they will soon know where to pee.
4. if they pee outside the pan , mark tat spot , put something on top of it.
this i how i train my 2 chins . now both of them know how to use the toilet liao .

yup, chewing is normal . just buy those chew toy for them . my chins macam Micheal scotfield and Linclon Burrow , can easily prison break from paper boxes within 10 minutes.
