mean that after 6months it only will become bigger size? ;O
no, the size of the chinchilla is depend on the health and the genetic of the chinchilla. For a 6 months chin, the weight should be at least 500gram and above, if 600gram, fantastic.

i tink he's trying to tell you that you cant tell a chins age by the size of it. cos those in petshop, normally not not being properly taken care of althought it's already 6 months old it might still weight like a 2 months old chins cos it's underage. and if the chinchilla is not havin proper diet since young it might have possibility that it wont be gaining much weight or growing much

bro chinchillas, am i rite?
Yes, well explaination.

To add on for princess, I THINK is not that easy to see underage chinchilla sell in pet shop even tho it had, however, underWEIGHT chinchilla is plenty. All chinchilla MUST wean at 2 months/200gram and above to be enable to have save life for the new owner. If you are a beginer, get chin that is older if you want to get from pet shop.

mine is female u forgotten haha

AHAHAHA... sorry, too many, lose count! However, it is the same, they are happy and want to be mate. You can get her a neighbour tho. If you have another male chin and put on another cage side by side, you will see they chit chat.

if you have another female chin, you will see they running in the cage for playing almost every night.
